It goes through why blogs are popular, how they play a role in the marketing world and gives a list of possible sites you can use to create your blog.

When starting a blog you must determine what it is your blog will be about and who your audience will be. Then you will determine how long you would like to make your entries. Typically the length of blogs end up being anywhere from four hundred to one thousand words. When writing you want to pick either a topic, article, or book and pick out the main takeaways and be able to summarize those throughout our blog post. Next up, when choosing a title you want to make sure it will attract individuals to want to read your blog. The title should also pertain to what it is that you wrote within your post that time. Blogs should also contain three main parts: an introduction, a main body, and a conclusion. Following with that there are some key features on your blog post that you want to make sure you have. For starters when designing your blog you want to make sure it looks nice and organized and professional. Other important factors include; adding a subscribe button, enabling the comment section, adding an about me section, also adding a search bar to allow your readers to search for specific blog posts. When creating a blog there are various key details in order to help you succeed.

Journey of Jaelynn

Today was the first day back at Ohio Northern University for spring semester. For me it will probably take me a few class days to get back in the swing of things as I took fall semester off and only had two online classes. However, I am very excited as I begin my time as a Marketing major. After I graduate from Ohio Northern I am hoping to put my Marketing degree in use in the Art field. Specifically in Art Galleries. Now personally I have no talent when it comes to drawing, painting, and generally all hands-on art that individuals can create. To be able to look at certain pieces of art and try to find the true meaning behind each and every piece of artwork. When it comes to art, I love being able to hear how everyone's perspective on certain artworks. I find it beautiful how we all take in things differently and come up with differe...

Social Media's connection with Mental Health

Is there a connection between social media and mental health? The answer to that question is yes and as technology grows and social media platforms progress the more individuals are aware of the connection.      On a personal level I have first-hand come to realize how social media can affect one's mental health. I remember when I first got on social media, I was constantly comparing myself to other females on the platform and wished that I could look like how they did. Then I was fixated on how many likes I got on each of my posts. Social media was destroying my mental health and self-esteem day in and day out. I would constantly look at my phone to see if I had any notifications from someone trying to follow me or liking one of my posts. However, I made changes and over the years since then I have made sure to take time away from social media by completely deleting my accounts and refocusing in on me when I started to feel the negative impact again. Social media ...

A compelling insight on the risks of addiction, mental health disorders when using social media.      Throughout the documentary it explores and dives into explaining how social media companies use algorithms in order to track their user's behavior and increase engagement. Former Facebook engineer Justin Rosenstein goes into depth how users are being sold to advertisers, and in a way, users are selling their attention away to them. Then Tristan Harris a former Google design ethicist goes in to explaining the addiction to social media platforms and the similarity it has between Vegas slot machines which are primarily designed to keep and maintain one's attention.      Another main topic that is focused on throughout the documentary is how misinformation has spread globally through thes...
