Last Friday I got the opportunity to attend my first Social Media Workshop. Now although I did need to attend as it is part of my social media grade, I don't want to look at it that way. It is a way to be able to learn about new skills that will help me in my future career. The day was set up with everyone attending first meeting in the ballroom to hear from speaker Jason Therrien who is the founder of Thunder::Tech. To start off the day he gave an amazing presentation on how far long social media has come and what direction it is currently heading in. After his presentation the rest of the presentations where is two different rooms and you got to choose which room you wanted to go during that time. Overall, it was an amazing day and lots to learn. Now as I said before our first speaker of the day was Jason Therrien and I am going to go deeper into what he presented.
