Week Before Spring Break

As the excitement and readiness sets in for spring break to be upon us we have to stay focused as midterm week occurs.

Personally, throughout this week I have had to juggle between studying, finishing homework and projects up, while also working at Texas Roadhouse. On the exam side of thing's, I only have two exams. I have my Legal Environment Exam on Wednesday which over chapters seven through fourteen. Then on Thursday I have my Principles of Social Media exam. When it comes to exams there are so many various ways to study. From creating Quizlet's over chapters to the old school way of writing flashcards. Me personally when it comes to studying writing thing's out on paper helps me better understand and learn the material. With my major being Marketing when studying it is not about memorizing the topic like in high school I have to be able to fully understand the material and be able to apply it to my everyday life. In most cases because I love my major being able to apply thing's comes quickly and easily to me. However, there is always room for improvement and certain topics are more difficult than others. Following studying I had homework which was not a lot this week but enough to keep me on my toes. Then I had a couple projects to either start or finish. Midterm week is all about getting homework finished and taking exams before spring break.
On the flip side lets discuss what I will be doing over spring break. First thing's first I will be taking notes and getting ahead on chapter reading's for all of my classes. I would like to get as ahead as I possibly can so when it's time to return I'm ahead of them game and do not have to stress over anything. Then I am buying a book series that I have been obsessed with reading. My goal is to try and finish the series before spring break is over. The series is only made of three books which should not take long given how many hours there are in a day. Following that I will of course have work which I plan on starting my break with working two doubles back to back. I would much rather work more towards the beginning of the week so that I can rest the end of the week closer to when we get to go back to school.

Social Media's connection with Mental Health

Is there a connection between social media and mental health? The answer to that question is yes and as technology grows and social media platforms progress the more individuals are aware of the connection.      On a personal level I have first-hand come to realize how social media can affect one's mental health. I remember when I first got on social media, I was constantly comparing myself to other females on the platform and wished that I could look like how they did. Then I was fixated on how many likes I got on each of my posts. Social media was destroying my mental health and self-esteem day in and day out. I would constantly look at my phone to see if I had any notifications from someone trying to follow me or liking one of my posts. However, I made changes and over the years since then I have made sure to take time away from social media by completely deleting my accounts and refocusing in on me when I started to feel the negative impact again. Social media ...
